Little Victories - Open Eyes

Not his most flattering photo, but a great one for us to see. He was very alert when we came in to see him this morning and locked eyes with his mommy and daddy right away. This has been the first time he has really had his eyes open without looking “under the influence,” although, now that I look at it, he still does a little bit doesn’t he? Oh well, I’ve got better photos on my camera. This was taken with my phone.

I would say there are no small victories in this case. It is easy to see how God is walking just a step ahead of you in many ways. There are so many people looking out for you and supporting you; from family to co-workers. I thank God for that!!! Can’t wait to meet Asher!
