As said earlier, Andrea and I have been living alone for the first time since Jadyn was born. While most of the week was spent at work and the hospital, today was a little different. After an early visit to see Asher, we went out to eat (thanks to a gift card we got from some friends). Then, something CRAZY happened…we decided, with no prior planning, that we’d go see a movie…. and the craziest part of all - WE DID! Then we went to DeBrand’s for a sundae (thanks to a giftcard from our small group parents). We haven’t been on a date like that since we were “kids” with no worries of money, babies, medical bills or the future.

It was a nice break from reality, but we are both ready to get Jadyn back in our house - even if that means we can’t randomly decide to go see a movie….
