I Love Being A Dad

It is now 12:45 and I am up because Asher isn’t feeling well.  I think to myself, “I hate not being able to sleep whenever I want.  I hate holding Asher when he is screaming in my face…” but then he does something crazy…he stops, opens his eyes and looks at me.  In that brief moment in time, I realize I love not being able to sleep whenever I want and I love holding Asher when he is screaming in my face.  I love being a dad…in good times and in bad…

@Clayton » I’m sure, unlike me, you NEVER feel like locking yourself in your closet to avoid the cries of your baby, right? haha

@Brad » It sure is! It is the simple things that always put things in perspective for me.

@Melissa » that’s crazy! We love the name and the meaning behind the name. I knew of only one Asher and he was a 9 or 10 year-old on a soccer team I coached last summer. Now I know three!
