Lazy Sunday - Water Party
By CJ Mills on Jul 6, 2008 in family, jadyn, lazy sunday, photos
I know my blog has become a photo-blog recently, but that happens when you have three key ingredients:
- Great outdoor lighting - our house is amazing in that the windows are huge and the sun is always shining in. Creates great lighting for indoor shots as well as outdoor shots!
- Warm weather to get outside and take some photos while enjoying the weather!
- Both kids are home and interacting with each other
I have yet to take some “decent” photos of Asher in a creative setting…partially because the boy is still hooked up to a machine, but I might just have to go ahead and do it here in the next few days before he starts to grow a beard and thinks his dad is a complete dork…..
Below are some photos from yesterday’s water party. It was a big step for me to allow these water toys in my back yard as we all know those kind of toys wreck havok on any yard. I’ve already started the recovery process…perhaps my neighbor won’t mind me setting up in his back yard (right, Pat?)….

Hi…I came here by way of Gavin’s dads site. Just wondering if you have any Mills relatives in New York State?
Darling little girl. Oh…to be a kid again

@Brook » she is a very happy little girl - makes taking photos a lot of fun
@seven » thanks for stopping by and thanks for the comment! I hope you jumped around enough to see photos of my little Jade with her hair IN control as well!
@Chris » you can say that again - wouldn’t it be great to be a kid one day a month, just to give us enough energy to get through the next month? Not immediate relatives in New York that I can think of….

Hey CJ, although you’re a photography genius…my friend Lindsey thought of a great photo you should do of Asher. I shall tell you about it in person/over the phone. Talk to you soon.

Personally, I have really enjoyed the pictures. When you have such an adorable daughter, how can you not take pictures all the time. Looking forward to some pictures of Asher.
Glad you and Andrea got to get out tonight. I hope you had a good time. We took Eden for a walk tonight and Jadyn was outside. The two ran around the yard for awhile (sorry to tell you that) and tired each other out. Two people walked by and Jade tells them hi and that she is busy running with Eden. What a kid!!

Ahh, summertime in the back yard. Nothing better than a long slip-n-slide, water and lots of mud.
