Quality Time With Jadyn

Last night I spent the entire evening with Jadyn. We played outside on the swingset for a little bit, but spent most of the time playing with sidewalk chalk. Jade would scribble on the driveway, and then stand up and yell “Ta-Da!” after finishing her piece of “art.” It was quite funny. I miss spending time with her. It was a good reminder that, one day, she’s going to grow up and won’t always be around.
Time for me to starting doing a better job and making time for her.

I know what you mean when you talk about spending time with Jadyn doing sidewalk chalk…I had the opportunity to do that with her about a week ago. She is at such a FUN age right now! It amazed me to sit with her and watch her “create!” She definitely has an artistic side to her and already shows a passion for being creative, just like her daddy and mommy! =]

cj, our oldest is 14 now. she starts HS this fall. we blinked. thats it. an innocent blink, and now here we are.
