What Is She Thinking?

Last week, while playing outside, Jade would randomly drop to the ground, rest her head on her arms, cross her legs and start to sing random Disney songs. I was able to quickly grab this photo and, since I’m addicted to Lightroom, edited it a bit in there.
I wish I could peer my daughter’s mind and listen to what goes through her head (well….only until she starts to like boys — then I don’t want to know!!). What about you? What do you think she is thinking in this picture? If you’ve never left a comment before, now is a perfect time to weigh in!

I believe she is marveling at how beautiful Sleeping Beauty is and how much she loves her daddy, mommy and baby brother and how funny the grass feels on her bare legs! =]

I’m thinking that she’s thinking she’s Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) in a 21st century music video…especially with Dad chasing her around the backyard with a camera. ahem.

ps. Yesterday at the park I was at the bottom of the slide and Mom was like “Jade, go get Angela from the slide!” and she was like “Jadyn tooooo the rescue!” hahaha.

Maybe you should check into salt tablets. One time when I was mowing the yard in the middle of summer, I dropped to the ground and started singing random Disney songs.
Salt deficiency.
Or, perhaps she’s planning the ultimate Disney cruise vacation package, and pondering the best way to ask Daddy and Mommy for $6000 to cover the costs.
